Dudley Leisure Centre

The project is for the construction of a new multi-use leisure facility in Dudley.

The new leisure centre briefly comprises of the following areas:

• Adventure Play Area
• Café
• Changing & Toilet Facilities
• Fitness Suites / Studios
• Kitchen
• Offices
• Party Room
• Pool Hall (Main Pool and Leaner Pool within)
• Sauna
• Sports Hall

The MEP strategy was heavily driven by the council to be a low energy solution, the innovative solutions for the building included:

• Air Source Heat Pumps providing preheat to the heating and hot water systems
• LED Lighting throughout
• Low SFP Air Handling Units
• VRF
• Intelligent Controls

CGP MEP undertook the Stage 2 and 3 design for ISG to ensure the Clients aspirations were achieved whilst working with the MEP Contractor to ensure project costs were aligned to the ISG Contractor Proposals. CGP MEP were novated to the MEP Contractor to complete the Stage 4 design.

The design was completed using Revit MEP.

CGP MEP also provided energy advise throughout the stages and completed the SBEM and EPC assessments.
