Last week was the annual staff away day for CGP|MEP held at Orton Hall Hotel.

Kicking off with staff introductions was a great way for staff to learn more about what the business had been doing throughout the year, performance, pipeline and Leeds office refurbishment plans were shared as well as catching up with colleagues from different offices.

Personal inspirations for the last 12 months were shared between staff ranging from sports teams/personalities, family and friends, and legendary broadcasters.

An important topic for discussion was how CGP staff are setting their own standards in the work that we carry out. How we remain and improve on being our clients trusted partners, relied on to always provide appropriate solutions. Staff were also encouraged to set their own personal standards to help them achieve their goals.

The afternoon brought a different event to CGP as we all became stock market traders for a couple of hours (some more successfully than others!)

Communication within teams was key as well as a bit of luck to make the biggest return of the day. The winning team came out over £2000 ahead of their starting position netting them the coveted winners medals.
