Dechra Pharmaceuticals

The project was the refurbishment of an existing two-storey building.

The refurbished building would include:

  • Exterior renovations
  • Interior upgrades
  • Laboratory enhancements
  • Electrical and Security System upgrades
  • Sustainable Energy features

A few of the main points of the refurbishment were:

  • Over-roofing the building to improve thermal insulation and prevent water ingress
  • New air handling plant to ensure proper ventilation and air quality within the laboratories
  • Rationalising the site-wide electrical distribution to ensure a reliable power supply and energy efficiency
  • Installing a large photovoltaic (PV) array to harness solar energy
  • Installing additional charge points in the car park for staff and visitors

 

CGP MEP undertook the Stage 2 and 3 design on behalf of Dechra to ensure the Clients aspirations were achieved whilst working with The Bowman Riley, Sutcliffe Construction and their MEP Sub-Contractors to ensure project was delivered on time and to the quality expected.

CGP MEP was retained by the Client to review the detailed design proposals monitor works on site..

CGP MEP also provided energy advise throughout the stages and completed the SBEM and EPC assessments.
