A new build secondary school located in High Weald, Kent.

The new building supports a class entry of 3FE and encompasses approximately 5000m2 of new teaching space.

The new school encompasses the following teaching spaces;

  • General Teaching Classrooms
  • Science Laboratories
  • Design and Technology Rooms
  • Learning Resource Centre

CGP MEP provided the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical services for the design and build contractor and completed using Revit MEP to BIM Level 2 with Cobie input for engineering components.

The scheme had to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating on completion, so CGP MEP also provided energy advise and modelling for the detailed design stage to ensure compliance with the regulations including Part L2a and TM52 and completed the SBEM and EPC assessments.
