Fox Grove Primary School

A new build SEN primary, secondary and 6th Form school and separate sports block located in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The new school buildings consist of;

New Teaching Block
New Sports Block

The new 3512m2 teaching block supports up to 152 peoples with complex social and communication needs and encompasses the following teaching spaces;

  • General Teaching Classrooms with dedicated group rooms
  • Occupation Therapy and Soft Play Area
  • Multi Use Practical Science
  • Music Suite
  • Art / DT Workshop
  • Food Technology Area
  • Learning Resource Centre

The energy performance of the building is supported by the installation of a 153m2 Photovoltaic array.

The new 1415m2 sports block provides the following spaces;

  • 20m x 34.5m Sports Hall
  • 4 x 30 person Changing Rooms
  • Gymansium
  • Club Room
  • Support Spaces

CGP MEP provided the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical services for the design and build contractor and completed using Revit MEP to BIM Level 2.

The scheme had to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating on completion, so CGP MEP also provided energy advise and modelling for the detailed design stage to ensure compliance with the regulations including Part L2a and TM52 and completed the SBEM and EPC assessments.
