Works have now been completed on the refurbishment of Block F at Wakefield College, transforming the ground floor of a former catering building into a modern Construction Skills Centre.
The project forms the first phase of a wider campus redevelopment, providing specialist teaching and training facilities, including multi-skills workshops, electrical workshops, assessment bays and ICT classrooms.
CGP|MEP provided the MEP design for the all-electric scheme, incorporating air source heat pumps, energy-efficient VRF air conditioning and LED lighting.
It’s great to see the completed facilities providing a modern learning environment for the next generation of construction professionals.
