A new build teaching block on the existing secondary school campus located in Barnet, London.

The new building supports the existing school facilities and encompasses approximately 2000m2 of new teaching space.

The new school encompasses the following teaching spaces;

• General Teaching Classrooms
• Science Laboratories
• Art Room
• IT Suite
• Learning Resource Centre

CGP MEP provided the detailed design of the mechanical and electrical services for the design and build contractor and completed using Revit MEP to BIM Level 2 with Cobie input for engineering components.

The scheme had to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating on completion, so CGP MEP also provided energy advise and modelling for the detailed design stage to ensure compliance with the regulations including Part L2a and TM52 and completed the SBEM and EPC assessments.
